The Kentucky Museum of Art in Craft is a 30 year old art organization based in Louisville, Kentucky. It's mission is to promote the art and craft originating in the state of Kentucky. I have had the honor of redesigning their much out-of-date 13 year old website to be more dynamic and updatable, involving social networking plug-ins and bold, contemporary graphic design.
This project include a massive amount of work i have completed for them over the past few weeks including their complete website design, and all of their 30th anniversary Bourbon bash materials. I was given complete graphic design and web design control. The designs had to be user-friendly as they have a huge draw of both younger and more seasoned patrons. They asked me to use my own artwork for many of the full page magazine ads as it in itself is very bold and colorful.
Throughout the entire project the goal was to create an eye-catching design that expresses the forward thinking approach of the museum and its exhibitions.
The website is slated to launch September 2011
