Westpac wanted to illustrate the ultimate winning hand, the Royal Flush, to demonstrate the many disciplines of thought used by CEOs to win creatively and financially in business. A nice idea from creative agency Lavender.

Ken Taylor may not seem the immediate choice to illustrate a campaign for a financial institution as you'd have to put Ken Taylor's rock poster portfolio at the other end of the tonal spectrum to business finance.

On closer inspection though Ken's portfolio boasts bold block tones, intricate linework and letterpress-like use of a limited colour pallette. Lurking amongst his animals and cars are also a host of original characters representing all walks of life. When you consider this you can see why he did such a great job creating this set of three picture cards to represent three archetypal disciplines of thought used by CEOs, the scribe, the judge and the mystic.
