My competition entry for the Cheltenham Illustration awards. The inspiration for this started with a Cimaruta, an amulet which is usually worn by children to ward against the evil eye. From this I explored many charms and amulets and the history behind them. It's such a fascinating subject and I love superstitions, especially from other countries, most of them are so bizarre.
