This project was completed and entered into the contest "Stuck at Prom" hosted by the tape brand Duct Tape. The purpose of this scholarship contest was to make a dress out of duct tape for Prom. My partner, Mariana Pavia, and I designed the two dresses. Flowers inspired us, but we also wanted to give our dresses a metallic twist since our prom theme was "I Love New York". Both dresses are made entirely out of duct tape in addition to some other materials for structural purposes (such as a wired frame for the bubble skirt). I made the bottom half of my dress (white top and bubble skirt) by gluing each individual piece of duct tape onto the wire frame. I helped make the abstract flowers on Mariana's dress and I designed the accessories, such as the rose purse.
