About Adobo Design Awards
First launched in 2007, the adobo Design Awards returns to champion the Philippines’ best in design and to celebrate the talentsbehind the work. Work will be seen by top names in advertising and design and measured against the global standards of excellence. The competition is open to all enthusiasts, practitioners, freelancers and students of design and advertising.
Open Theme Category
Open to professionals, freelancers and students, this category calls for creative pitches to promote the imagery of Manila’s popular culture. Entries may be submitted in any format: poster (graphic illustration) or video (motion graphics up to 7 minutes).
Design to promote the imagery of Manila’s popular culture for the purpose of defining its identity to its internal and external audience. An articulation of a single facet or multiple facets of what the capital city of the Philippines has to positively offer.
