Kamal Hassan is one of the biggest super stars of Indian cinema ever. In a career spanning over 50 years, the man has projected countless personas on screen and has recieved the highest honours for his work. He's one of the few actors who has never been afraid to risks, he has distorted himself beyond recognition, played multiple roles (sometimes even 10 in one film), and pulled them off with great success. He could, without doubt, be called a man with many faces. When I had a chance to shoot with him, I had this idea of making a distorted photo collage to capture his essence. I offered him a choice on the levels of distortion - safe or unsafe? Unsafe of course, was his reply without a moment's hesitation.
