  • The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has established the King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K•A•CARE) to diversify its energy mix and reduce its dependence on fossil fuels. Bruce Mau Design was invited to participate in a first phase for the development of a conceptual master plan for the city.

Our involvement in the K•A•CARE project was 2 fold; the first to be Visionary Consultants where we researched and explored the potential city structure (and infrastructure), and the second to design the Exhibition space in Riyadh where BMD and the other 12 Master Planners were able to showcase their models and ideas for the future city. All work for was completed in both English and Arabic.
