This project was focused on redesigning the packaging for Justin's Nut Butters. The brief was to make Justin's packaging more distinct among peanut butter, and to maintain the company's quirky personality while better communicating its environmental commitment. As a leader in sustainable packaging initiatives, Justin's is on the search for 100% recyclable and compostable packaging options for its trademark squeeze packs. To take advantage of these initiatives, I repackaged their 16 ounce jars into recyclable pouches. This solution is not only more sustainable and stands out in the marketplace, but as a bonus, it's a heck of a lot easier to knead the oil back into the butter in the pouch rather than to try to stir it in a jar.
