Problem: Juice Squeeze, one of the Crystal Geyser’s more popular drinks, is known for being sweetened only with fruit juices and containing all-natural flavors and no artificial colors or preservatives. However, the former packaging did not represent these healthful qualities, so the goal for the new packaging was to represent the purity of the beverage.
Solution: The label was designed with a white background and minimal color. This avenue was chosen so that it represented the juice is free of junk—only the distilled essence of the fruit. The label included color only for the fruit imagery and matching typography indicating flavor. The mainly white label gave an impression of the product’s pristine nature and indicated that the main ingredient in the juice was real fruit. The minimalistic approach to the packaging design was meant to parallel the lifestyle of the beverage consumer—pure and wholesome. The labels and packaging were made to embody the natural elements of the juice.
