Jubes is a decorative typeface which explores the physiology of cuteness. Each letter is a charming character with an individual personality; each one references sugary food. In this technology-fueled world, many people feel alone, isolated by the screen. This project aims to comfort the lonesome individual by turning the everyday communication medium of a typeface into a loyal companion. People form relationships with Jubes, as they can express their individuality by choosing their favourite characters. The cute faces of the characters allow the individual to be emotionally consoled, as they feel nurtured and secure with their chosen character.
