Packaging illustrations for Jimalie Virgin coconut oil and Organic coconut sugar. I really had fun doing this project, the client is awesome and I was able to experiment and refine my process. Here's a step by step on how I did the illustrations.
Studies
I printed out the labels and drew the studies on them directly. This way the illustrations will fit the layout.
I made several studies of farmers using photos as references.
Approved studies
Wa call the the guy in the middle 'Taba' man. The client wanted to change his eyes though. So I made several sketches.
