The 70's classic Hitchcock movie, The Birds, was to be shown at St Pauls church in Birmingham and the giants of advertising, Saatchi were promoting for Jameson Cult Film Clubs nationwide extravaganza event.
The 70's classic Hitchcock movie, The Birds, was to be shown at St Pauls church in Birmingham and the giants of advertising, Saatchi were promoting for Jameson Cult Film Clubs nationwide extravaganza event.
G4H were sourced to create an installation for the film and we decided to use the City of Birmingham skyline as a backdrop for the invading birds!
The mood for the evening was set upon arrival with actors portraying characters from the film in and around the church, creating quite a stir. Along with eerie looking stuffed birds placed in appropriate places, a very effective projection of birds on the church ceiling and 3 Jameson cocktails inclusive of entry,we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and it was good to see the artwork being put to great use for the viewers commemorative photograph!
A short time lapse video shot by our selves for Jamesons Cult Film Club. We managed to secure the roof of the old Birds custard Factory in Digbeth. This provided one of the best views of the city skyline and the perfect backdrop for the video.
