Student project - branding concept
Title: "The hunt for the Silver deer"
Target: Teenagers between 13 - 25 years
"Make an advertising campaign for Voss with the use of new media"
I chose to make a crime mystery to engage teenagers to get to know Voss. The crime mystery is a competition where you can win a trip for you and your friends to Voss and tickets to the "extreme sport week". Media used in this concept is a crime mystery, milk carton, AR poster and a web page.
The advertisement concept is to let the teenagers get to know the city of Voss through the crime mystery, and also engage them to take part in the history through social media.

- Winner of the student category at Social WinterThis project was presented at Social Winter, as the winner of the student category. Social Winter is a conference that mixes speeches and debates about Social Media. This project won because of it's unusual use of social media to promote a brand (which here is a city).
- Design manual
Design manual for the advertising campaign that include logo, font, pattern, symbol and colors.
- 0,5 dl Milk carton
In Norway the average 1 l milk carton gets covered with a crime mystery every Easter. That is also what I've done. Since this competition is for a younger demographic, I chose a smaller milk carton, and stuck to the design manual.
- AR Poster
The poster shows a picture of an "AR" tag. If you use your smart phone to scan the code you will se the Silver Deer run on your mobile screen.
- Web page
The web page is constructed so that you can read the full story and enter the competition by naming the one who you think stole the "Silver deer".
