J.Coles is a local british themed bar located in California, PA. The pizzeria is located inside the bar and wanted a college friendly logo that was associated with the bar but not entirely. They also wanted a logo that could be put on t-shirts and wanted something that people would actually wanted to buy.
I resolved this by producing a pirate themed logo. Since the bar associates itself with the british culture I associated the pizza shop as a "pirate". The main logo is one color but it can be changed, as shown below, to match the type of audience.
