JAM is a gathering of musicians, artists and cultralists combined. The museum is a collection of instruments, artifacts, photographs, and video/sound clips, with exhibitions of specific artists. Based in San Francisco, the museum is a combination of art and history together into one meaningful experience. The museum strives to conserve the history of Jazz, educate the public, and allow the audience to experience and enjoy the music and hopefully leave with a greater appreciation of Jazz and understand it’s place in American history.
