It's the journey that matters
Ad campaign proposal for Air Transat
Back from my last trip in Europe, our plane made a detour over Groenland because of the strong winds that were facing us. Fortunately, it was a sunny and cloud-free day over the country, giving me a great opportunity to record on board footage.
Because it was shot through a smartphone the overall quality as this okay-ish feeling that is the core concept of the campaign ''It's the travel that matters''. It places the audience on the seat as if it was viewing the landscape from the plane and could be easily declined to any other destination Air Transat deserve.
On a personal note, the core value of that ad is relevant to me because I see a direct link with the creative work : for a lot of us, enjoying and mastering the creative process is a journey far more important than the final product that can be perfected over and over and relies on external forces.
