Political campaign for Andrea Pisauro (2013)
Candidate for Italian Congress (Europe division)
I was part of the team that worked on the strategical aspect of this political campaign. I also created the flyers, the campaign business cards, the postcards and the video (shooting and editing). I also worked on the web side of the campaign, organizing the content of the website and creating graphics for it.
There were two aspects to this campaign that influenced the design of flyers, business cards and postcards: the first was to convince people usually not interested in politics to vote and the second was to put the emphasis on the candidate rather than on the party which is not very popular at the moment.
The flyers are structured as a guide on how to vote. We did not use the colors of the party and the logo appears only on the back.
The postcards were left everywhere, from cafes to theaters, and were meant to convince people not at all interested in politics. They contain a personal message about the feelings shared by those who leave Italy and live abroad (our potential voters). They are not political in the strict sense of the term.
The campaign business cards were given away mostly on political occasions so we used the colors associated with the party and the logo both on the front and on the back.
