The development of this handbook began by meeting with the Assistant Director of the Metal Shop and the Metal Shop Manager. I was taught the process and photographed each step and tools used. The photographs were turned into illustrations and the handbook was laid out. There was also copy-editing to turn information from the technical staff into easily digestibly text. Wall graphics for the welding stations soon followed. 

This handbook was a Semi-Finalist in the 2011 Adobe Design Achievement Awards in the Innovation in Traditional Media in Education category.
