I was thrilled to become the first student intern for BHD and went on to successfully initiate a student mentoring programme which has seen the company take measures to employ one student intern every year, providing a mutually beneficial experience.
My time working for BHD contributed towards me gaining my diploma in professional practice.
My main duties and responsibilities included creating and adjusting architectural drawings and details, 3D modelling, furniture sourcing / ordering, creating mood and material sample boards for client meetings and serving a front-of-house client-facing role in the material library and on the shop floor.
