Websites
The Salvation Army enlisted my assistance on developing a welcoming vibe on a new online community they have launched to provide resources for those who have successfully graduated from their Adult Rehabilitation Center programs. It was wonderful to work for such a good cause.
I worked with Andrew Alt, an amazing copywriter and digital media strategist, to put a little polish on his site, built on WordPress.
LlookBook was my first iPad app. An interactive catalogue of over 200  Leisurelink premiere vacation destinations, with image galleries of each property, an interactive table of contents. This was created as a successful tool for salesmen to pitch to large online travel agencies access to these independently owned properties. Reception was extremely favorable, resulting in several new engagements.
The Western Art Directors Club was the first organization of its kind on the West Coast, started in 1968. The site uses Sam Schmidt's unique identity system, where the initials WAD and C were required NOT to be on the same baseline. I supported the site for two years, including adding PHP elements like a rotator on the front page.
LeisureLink is travel startup that empowers independent owners and hoteliers with sophisticated online tools to manage and grow revenue, including an online travel agency devoted to timeshares and condominium rentals. I was brought in to breathe a little life into their pages.
The Marketspan Platform allows independent hotel owners the ability to compete--and beat--the big chains through their sophisticated revenue management tools. To show how effective their tools were, I worked closely with LeisureLink's marketing and product development teams to develop a simple-as-pie tool to calculate competitive pricing for any independent property in the US. The user imputs in an address and a date range, and it spits out an Average Daily Rate, as well of those of similar competitive properties in the area by room type and number.
Worked with the amazing team at Markatos Moore to develop and promote this free learning site developed by Blackboard, which included all the latest elearning tools and features.
The previous Blackboard website received less than 10,000 unique visitors per month, despite having 100 times that many active users of the online learning system. Our 2009 redesign tripled that number in a fortnight, and earned our team a Stevie Award for Best Corporate website.
