Over the summer holidays we were each given a word to thoroughly research into, my word was ‘Lackadaisical’; I had branched into a few areas. However when we came back we were told to swap with one of our classmates and we now had another sketchbook to work from. The new word I had was ‘Plangent’ which means a deep loud mournful sound. The next stage was to make an info-graphic based upon how much of the topic was covered in the new sketchbooks. I used predominantly black to represent the plangent feeling and the burnt orange colour to echo the atmosphere. I made the icons to represent each section that was covered and the sonic sound wave was the key on how much was covered as this is what I thought how each setion could be represented. Read Less
