I:nstinct Bookcase
Redefining the Relationship between Books and Space
Academic Project 2008
In tandem with Tertia Tay
For those who find the standard way of storing books dull, the I:nstinct Bookcase provides
a unique solution by holding texts in between spaces created by rods. When loaded,
the books appear to be suspended in mid air-in a forest. It is entirely up to the user to
play with the position of the books.

  -  The I:nstinct Bookcase can accommodate up to 30 small and large books in a
     compact foot print.

  -  Thicker books can be suspended between the rods.

  -  The clear acrylic shelves are a mere 2 mm thick, but each can hold approximately
three to five books, depending on the size of the shelf and thickness of books.
