– Behind the scene for Inspire Cafe interior graphics

 

Two and half weeks before the soft launch for Inspire Cafe, We were approached by Ben from Inspire CA with an open brief to add some final touches to the cafe interior. We had two areas to play with: glass panels that separate the meeting rooms to the cafe area, and a 4 x 5 metre wall as the cafe's backdrop.

 

As the name suggests, Inspire Cafe is all about giving people a dose of inspiration in everything they do, from hiring an exceptional barista to installing the large LED TV screen where you can watch a TED talk while waiting for your coffee. So it is not difficult for us to decide that INSPIRATION is the key message to communicate.

 

We thought about making an exceptional cup of coffee, the final touch of sprinkling your favourite powder topping, then using a tooth pick to create amazing pictures. That’s INSPIRATIONAL. We also thought about Inspire CA – an exceptional accounting firm, working with the most basic facts in businesses - numbers. Yet through numbers they provide the foundation and building blocks for businesses to accumulate large sums and build bigger and better things. That is INSPIRATIONAL.

 

Using one of the most basic geometric shapes – a triangle, which also echoes the shape of the red tick within the Inspire Café logo, through repetition and multiplying we created a seemingly random yet fascinating pattern. This pattern symbolises growth and the sprinkles that turn an ordinary cup of coffee into an inspiring one.

 

Designing was the easy part, transforming the blue prints into reality was somewhat magical and required the craftmanship and perseverance of a master mason.

 

Lucky for CreativLi, we found just the right master – Ron Mason from Digitalink. With his wealth of knowledge and experience, as well as keenness to provide the best solution without compromising the designer’s intent, Ron helped us select the most appropriate material to achieve maximum impact in the most efficient way.

 

The result is stunning and the rest, as they say is history!
