  • Hello, California Academy of Science!
Hannah McGill's works of interest for the Infographics and Scientific Illustration opening.
  •  This is a vector illustration, and serves as my own personal logo. It was created in Adobe Illustrator CS3.
  • Infographic created to make a complex idea seem inviting and comprehensible. Vector graphics, Adobe Illustrator.
  • A handout that is smarter and better than the average worksheet, created to accompany the Math Snacks animation, 'Scale Ella,' at http://mathsnacks.org. It represents a group effort between myself, the animators, our clients, and our client's clients. This was created using Adobe Flash, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  •  A coloring book illustration that accompanies a pictorial recipe. Illustrator.
  • Pictorial recipe page that accompanies the coloring book illustration of a squash. The intended audience was low-literacy people, including children as well as adults who hadn't had access to an education.
  •  A graphic created for a touchscreen application using Photoshop and Illustrator. Each cut of meat was touchable, bringing up butchering techniques, taste information, and more.
  • I create complex storytelling scenes in Illustrator.
  •  Charcoal study of aggregated photos of human kneebones.
  •  Two studies of a single human vertebra, from life. Graphite.
  •  I also like to play with images on 3D paper forms. This version of my resume is available upon request. Created in Illustrator.
