Writting my CV, I was thinking to myself how rubbish CV's actualy are.
We are designers right? Why are we writting down our objectives and hobbies on a peice of white copy paper!?
I started to think about what it is that makes me...
My life did. Obviously this doesnt cover the major details but its a bit of tongue and cheek.
Hopefully more interesting for the possible employer than a standard CV. "I like football and socialising with friends" YUK!
As it is a designers CV, I feel the finished piece is really important, I know most applications are done digitally (vIa email) but I wanted to make some physical copies as well. To show I think further ahead than my Mac.
I'm planning on having this resume printed and embossed possibly themographic printing.
I'm discussing stock for the paper now. Plan is to roll the CV/poster and send it out to studios in a branded poster tube with a bussiness card inclosed.
Cheers
Max
