Indy Connect is Central Indiana's transportation initiative seeking public comment on a draft infrastructure development plan.
A public announcement campaign including TV, audio, outdoor (billboards and transit), newspaper and online ads, as well as social media and a massive earned media campaign were developed to encourage residents of Indianapolis and its suburbs to review and comment on the plan at a dedicated web site: IndyConnect.org.
The initiative was announced on Feb. 10, 2010 at 11 AM. By the end of the next day the web site had got more than 23,000 hits and collected more than 300 residents' comments to our database.
