In collaboration with Physics Ph.D. candidate Zac Bullard of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, I created a scientific poster for national conferences. The challenge was to take raw scientific data and communicate Mr. Bullard's research in a graphic and understandable form. He wanted a design that would stand out from the rest of the competing posters.

Scientific posters adhere to a strict order and design convention, consisting of stark white backgrounds and unexciting visuals. We agreed to deviate from that standard by highlighting key points in his research process and looking into conclusions separately. Together, they all form the bigger picture of Accelerated Topological Annealing of Carbon.

The poster was accepted into the 2012 Materials Research Society conference in Boston, MA.
