Final project for Alan Chochinov’s class at the MFA in Design at the School of Visual Arts. In-Sight is a resource for guidance counselors as a tool to help teens and young adult deal with stress, conflicts and peer pressure. In-Sight is a reference and a tool to help bring the methods of art therapy to guidance counselors as a tool and aid.
The In-Sight project stemmed from the question of can happiness be taught. Upon further investigation into therapy, and in particular art therapy, I found a need for its methods in high school guidance counseling. I completed a lot of research with numerous experts to find my topic and eventually put together a tool kit that counselors could look to for new and effective methods of counseling.
