There's a phrase called "Capture the Moment". Usually those moments show happy and great times. A number of people refuse to capture sad moments simply because people would be reminded of the sad happenings in their lives. I used to think of the same thing until this particular family decided to hire me as a photographer for the memorial of their two-day old twin babies.

This experience changed my understanding of the phrase, "Capture the Moment". Sad moments doesn't mean that those moments are not worth capturing. Seeing a person, sad or crying in a picture does not make them weak. The fact that they were there, dealing with whatever situation they are facing makes them a lot stronger than any other people.

And what a rewarding feeling it is for you to look back at yourself in those hard times, knowing that you've made it, moved forward, and became a better person.

So I believe that as sad as a situation can be, it is still worth capturing.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)
