When I was in High-School end even Mid-School I hated the thought of someone taking pictures of me. When you're a teenager you have all of these perceptions that you are not perfect or are too fat and not beautiful enough. Besides, back then I didn't even considered the idea of owning a camera... ever.
Once you grow up you change, its a part of it. I began shooting myself very often, beginning with my first "no name" digital camera my Dad bought in 2005. I was just playing, I didn't really thought much about it. It was fun.
But after a while I began realising that I am the perfect model. I could convey exactly what I wanted into a portrait. My ideas where easier to be done... with me. Having to know myself and portraying different feelings and moods into a photo made sense with me.
