Impact is the Department of Materials Science & Engineering at the University of Toronto’s alumni and industry magazine. Published annually, the magazine features the talent and commitment of our alumni, faculty, students, and staff to engage our external stakeholders, industry associates, and the engineering community-at-large.

My role was to reinvent the magazine with an elegant, modern look using well considered type, layout and photography. Establish a cohesive design language from which future issues would draw upon. I worked closely with the editor from the very beginning while expanding the publication to twice its previous size. Provided additional support in the form of art direction and photography to achieve the project objectives more efficiently.
