YouTube Battlecry
In this YouTube rumble unit, fans get to emulate the hero Perseus and destroy the page by literally yelling at their monitors. This unit was innovative in its use of mic and gadget channel. But while the ability to destroy YouTube with your battlecry is intrinsically appealing, the most charming part of this campaign was an afterthought. To get users excited about yelling at their computers, we took a guerilla film crew down to Comic-Con and shot some of the most festive participants giving us their best battlecry. The resulting video is a testament to the fact that going viral has a lot to do with being in the right place at the right time…and cosplay.
