Imiss - New Eco-design for Home and Exhibition

- Elegant and refined, IMISS is the original corrugated cardboard chair autographed by Officina 1159.
Its form draws upon the 20s modernist design and reconsiders Barcelona of Mies to recreate an interlacing of harmonic lines that ennoble the poor material of the cardboard.
A quotation destined therefore to become a sign, a pure and essential form that reveals the corrugated cardboard’s intimate aesthetics through its amazing simplicity.
Thanks to the corrugated cardboard’s composition and technology, IMISS is a design object whose form and frame are an all-in-one.
Particularly rigid and resistant, this chair presents a high aesthetic quality expressed by the undulated and properly eclectic texture that characterizes the cardboard and an accurate shaping and assemblage.
A wise alternation of hollow and full volumes, material and air, creates a sounding board that echoes the writing of signs. These last ones, visual representation of the game of forces inside the chair, are dyed red and engrave the material rhythmically propagating in it to become expressive matrix of the plan and recognizable signature of its author.
