Imam Al-Ghazalli: A tribute series is a collaboration project between Amirin Yasin Studio and my late uncle, Allahyarham Saiful Bahri Baharuddin.This project was done in June 2011 but unfortunately it is not release because my uncle had passed away.Basically, it is a tribute to one of the Muslim prominent and famous scholars as well as famous icon which is Imam Al-Ghazalli or known as 'The Hujjatul Islam'. The aim of having this project is to fill the gap in the production of Islamic t-shirts as well as to balance up negative messages that exists in the existing t-shirts in the market. Besides, it is also to spread Islamic and positive messages to the society for the sake of upholding Islam and Muslim Scholars, thus encouraging and creates a positive life through t-shirts medium.
In this series, the idea is to promote Imam Al-Ghazalli himself as one of the Muslim icon and famous scholars through his portrait and also his prominent name of works (books) such as Ihya 'Ulum Al-Din, Minhajul 'Abidin, Bidayat Al-Hidayah and Kimiya As-Sa'adah (In this portfolio, I only post the Ihya 'Ulum Al-Din t-shirts because the design is the same.The only difference in this series is the name of his works.) Through this tribute project, it is hope that the appreciation towards Islamic form of t-shirt design will increase and the most important thing is the appreciation towards Muslim Scholars and their works among the Muslims will increase.
