The Story

A couple of days ago, I read an article about a 2-hour delay in a flight caused by a panic attack from one of the passengers after seeing another passenger with Arabic writing on their notebook.
This piece is cynical take on this stereotype not only associated with a certain ethnicity but has come to include one of richest scripts as an indication for terrorism. It is an invitation for none-natives of the script to look beyond the obvious. Hence the choice of writing أنا لست إرهابيّا (I'm no terrorist) in the form of a sword.

The ornaments are purposefully western looking as a comment on the sole perception of the Arabic script as a 'highly ornamented script'.

I will be using this piece as a sticker on my notebook and luggage (I have a few experiences myself) and will make the file available for download in printable quality on my website. Print, stick, travel and enjoy!
