This pendant is inspired by an ampersand that I saw on a wine glass at a restauraunt in Stamford CT. I wasn't able to find the typeface it came from so instead I made it into a necklace so I wouldn't forget it.
I had an assignment to make a locket, but I wasn't at all interested in creating a typical heart shaped, hinged locket so I decided to try something different.
Ackee and saltfish is the (insanely delicious) national dish of Jamaica, I intend to make a little ackee to hang with this little guy in the future.
This set of couples rings is inspired by the bride and groom's wedding attire. The bride's ring is suppose to mimic lace while the groom's a cumberbund.
A quick process photo of how all of the above is made. First I render the jewelry in ArtCam, then it is carved in a CNC milling machine and cast. In this case the pendant is a mini bone folder so the fourth step is showing it 'in action'.
