Camilla Johansen is the jewelry designer behind Ilda Design. She commissioned me to design the visual identity of her jewelry brand Ilda Design, business cards and a brochure for the launch of her collection ‘Perfect Balance’. Ilda Design is true to its pure design and clean cut edges. There is a surprising element to the jewelry and I wanted to bring this through to the visual identity.
The collections ‘Perfect Balance’ as shown in the brochure is based on the designers visions and has been interpreted by photographer Autumn Hansen and text writer Karoline Hjort. As Camilla states it: «(…)I have as long as I can remember felt an injustice when it comes to the requirements that we constantly need to meet, and the very little box we have to fit into in order to be ‘accepted’. The aim of this project is that we can give ourselves and the people we encounter the opportunity to be all that we are without constantly having to question how we look, the choices we make, the lives we live, the money we earn or do not earn, the emotions we feel and the opinions we have.»
