Freelancing has I've given me the opportunity to design various logos. I don't consider myself a great logo designer, but nonetheless, I'm happy with the work I've done.
Designing the logo for Capitol Words was probably the best branding experience I've had. The clients were very interested in getting a great logo; I got a good amount of feedback to go off of. After various drafts and revisions this was the final deliverable.
Paper Napkin Designs is an LLC I formed with some friends. Most of my freelance work is done through it. We all liked the logo and the name, but we ran into a problem early on. No one understood that our company designs and build websites. We then decided to add the tagline "A Web Design Company" and haven't run into any problems since.
I was asked to modernize the Maricopa Democratic Party logo. It was a quick job but I'm pretty happy with the results (you should see their old logo).
Web Consulting is a team that works within ASU's Technology Office. Their primary role is to support and spread the usage of the Drupal platform throughout ASU. They wanted a version of the Drupal logo that would mesh well with ASU's visual Identity. Enter the Drupal devil, inspired by ASU's mascot Sparky.
Another simple logo done within a small time frame. Lexigy allows people to track political happenings and trends. After some brainstorming the idea of using star maps came into play. Not only do stars work well for politics ( it all over our flag after all) but in this case it also serves as a visual metaphor for "connecting the dots." As lexigy is located in Arizona, part of the Phoenix Constellation is depicted in the logo.
