Originally part of a class assignment to reinvent the identity of a public site or organization, I recently decided to revisit and revise the project for my own personal satisfaction.
The identity package is for the Clara Barton National Historic Site in Glen Echo, Maryland. Although the site is part of the National Parks system, I wanted to give it its own distinct character. The logo uses four rounded red squares, with a negative space cross in the center, to reflect Clara Barton's founding of the Red Cross--without infringing on the Red Cross brand itself.
