My submission for ISTD 2012. It Happened on this Day was the title of the brief. This brief challenged people to pick any day through history and produce a final outcome that was either print or screen related.

I chose to do a publication on the day Osama bin Laden was finally brought to justice for the events of 9/11. I chose this subject because when reading the brief it suggested 9/11 and this caught my eye because of all the emotion and disaster we all remember from this day. Through research and development I decided to take it further and looked into a day that I felt was very important to the world, the Day bin Laden was killed.

One of the things I specifically remember from this day was the Press stating that this is what would probably get Barack Obama his re-election into the White house for a second term. I wanted to treat this as the beginning of a possible election campaign.

This publication acts as a commentary of Operation Neptune Spear, that took place to capture or kill the terrorist leader.
