For ISOLATION, I wanted to determine a way into a world that is more aggressive and masculine with the same theme of fading hopes and the sense of being "alone". During my research developing the story for the film, I AM LEGEND, I worked with several military and state departments to determine what the protocol would be for evacuating a location or entire state should a pandemic arise. The information was enlightening and served as a starting point for the development of this story.

As part of a series of stories that I developed and produced for this campaign, I really wanted to work with the writer of the film, Mark Protosevich (THE CELL, THOR). His style of storytelling is very hard-hitting and his dialogue is awesome. Mark presented this concept which I loved and we collaborated with the artist to craft the world into something pliable. I paired him with a newcomer whom I thought displayed an artwork that matched Mark's tone and style beautifully. David is an extremely talented French native whom I found in Montreal. He comes from the gaming world and I found him from his concept work on the games ASSASSIN'S CREED and PRINCE OF PERSIA. His recent work includes concept art for the film TRON, among others.

I identified, hired and managed all creative staff involving story development, illustration and animation. Also, I oversaw the budget and managed the schedule to ensure timely delivery to DC/Vertigo for publication and to WB studios for inclusion on all Blu-ray and DVD's as special content.

Finally, as a senior creative executive at Overbrook Entertainment, I managed the creative vision of the overall transmedia campaign in collaboration with WB Marketing, DC/Vertigo, Weed Road Entertainment and the producers of the feature film.
