A logo is the identity of a brand.
A tattoo compliments the identity of a person.
I am not a tattoo designer. But I was more than obliged to take up a project when my client trusted me to create something that, personally,meant a lot to her. The thought behind it is hers. She just gave me the freedom to put this textual idea into a visual.
She gave me an urdu saying written in Devnagari Script - तू शाहीन है , परवाज़ काम है तेरा , तेरे आगे आसमां और भी हैं
The literal meaning of this in English is - You are a falcon. You fly. Fly into a million more skies.

The Parvaaz (flight) of the Shaheen (eagle) was the most important design element and it had to bring forth the significance of the lines for me. Since I cannot read the persian script, the lines had to be in devnagari script with the visual resemblance to calligraphic persian, a little raw and rough round the edges to seem as real and hand written as possible. The hand done font was just perfect for this from the first go. In the end I have the most beautiful, majestic, floating eagle with the hand written couplet to go with it which i sport on my inner right arm. Thank so much for the effort and making the art that I'm thrilled to sport for life!"
