CDEMA, in conjunction with the UWI Seismic Research Centre, launched a regional campaign called TSUNAMI SMART to raise awareness and encourage preparedness.

The campaign material was tailored for three distinct audiences: genreal public, teachers and children. Text-heavy material was converted into infographics and diagrams, and laid out into a series of posters, banners,and teaching workbooks for use in regional school curricula.
