In my time at IADT I had the opportunity to work on many wonderful projects as an individual, but I most enjoyed those where we were required to come together as a team. It was in these situations that I had the most fun.
The images above show a group project completed for a page layout class. Each group in the class had their choice of fundamental design elements to use as the subject of a book. Once a topic was collectively agreed upon, each member of the group had to design a page to highlight the topic using only design elements and no text. Another member of the group would then critique your work. These critiques would then be included along with each piece.
I like to take control of any project I work on and this one was no different. I developed the overall theme for the book, all of the theme illustrations and final copy edits. We were able come up with a well structured design, which combined personal critiques and individual artwork while still maintaining the overall theme.
