I am an open book
- I am an open book
I wear my heart on my sleeve (and I wear it well) - This was my second submission project for Willem The Kooning Academy. The assignment was to make a self portrait, something other that just a photo, that displays who I am.
I thought it would be nice to go with a main theme: the heart, because I live by my heart, I am a very open person who loves to share her heart with people. Also I was born with a defect on my heart, this really shaped me as a person over the years, this (the heart theme) is a great way to display the ins and out's of me.
Besides the main theme I chose to go with these four sub themes: the inside, the outside, the heart and the future. Most of it speaks for itself.
This is very personal work, I liked working on it.
I hope you enjoy it! 
In the centre of the book I carved out the pages in different layers, in the shape of a human heart. It stands for all the different layers in life and how you grow as a person, also like I wrote before, my heart has an extra big role in my life.
(The whole project is a large book that contains all of the work on two pages)

Go to Australia (which I've done). Study at WDKA. Grow.
Become a harder, better, faster, stronger person.
And the questionmark because I am not sure who I'll end up to be. - The heart, all the things that I like. (or just some of it)
