HYUNDAI / BRAND ADVERTISING Genesis Teaser Campaign
In 2011, Hyundai asked us to ramp-up their SEMA Marketing Initiative. They wanted us to come up with ways to hype the undisclosed-release of the new V8 Genesis Coupe. So we decided to create a teaser video and print campaign based around the idea of performance. The video highlighted the amount of detail that went into the car, which was led by professional driver, Rhys Millen. By showing him and his team literally building the car, piece-by-piece, we were able to capture the craftsmanship and attention to detail necessary to perform at such a high level.
The video we developed went viral and quickly generated over 500,000 views in a weeks time. It was featured on major sites like MotorTrend, Hyundai.com, CarScoop, Road & Track and Autoweek.
