Our goal was to design a new bodywear packaging system that provided: more units in wholesale and department stores; a lighter weighted package; with environmentally friendly materials; showing the content of the package, and had sex appeal. Almost every bodywear package holds a large image of a pysically fit male on the box, we designed a classier, more understated package that allowed the underwear to become more like a gift. Through contexual research we discovered that aesthetic value and physical contact with the material increases the buyers likelyhood to purchase the item therefore we used a variety of silk and velvet materials for the bags in order to provide a rich, delicacy that is common in jewellery packaging. Each bag has a window in the side which allows the buyer to look inside. We designed three variations for the different lines of clothing within Hugo Boss and in case of such events as a valentines day gift or charity event. Read Less
