Howling

Ever feel like you want to scream but you can't? I started "Howling" with this idea. I like working with patterns and I really wanted to incorporate that into this piece. Usually I work with a lot of photo-manipulation or photo illustration, but this time I really wanted to go for something a bit more raw and I decided to draw everything out myself. First I drew out most of the linework in black and white and after I had the general idea down I started to add color and texture.

Creating the lines and patterns for this was fun, but also tedious at times. There's quite a lot of detail going on in this illustration. I'm also planning on use the wolf from this illustration as a t-shirt print. Read Less
