This poster was created in response to the constructed image assignment prompt. We were to assemble a poster before capturing it with only one photo with only color correction edits. I chose to create a poster for the American bluesman Howlin' Wolf. Constructing the image I chose to focus on his instruments, his distinctive voice, and venue.
The instruments were transformed into the landscape and night sky. His crackling raspy voice is shown as mangled copper wire extending towards the fret marker moon.
