Brief
Howbert and Mays is a landscape gardening consultancy and garden centre based in Dublin, Ireland. Established in 2002, their work includes garden and landscape design, consultation, planting and development. We were commissioned to design and create branding, stationery, signage and packaging.
The branding design uses a minimal typographic approach and an earthy colour pallet inspired by natural materials and the client’s own photography. Intricate Victorian botanical illustration is juxtaposed with a the modern logo typeface to create a brand that reflects both the contemporary and traditional elements of horticulture.
